The Story⚡

Zainab Balogun returns to the big screen in the feature debut of OAP Shola Thomspon.

Tell Me More

Written and directed by Shola Thompson, Last Call is a thriller film inspired by his experience as an On-Air Personality.

Last Call gives an expose into the life of a renowned female On-Air Personality and Influencer known as Hauwa, who prepares to bid her farewell to her radio show, only to receive a phone-in call from a psychotic call that unfolds events from her past.

This film embodies extraordinary stars such as Zainab Balogun alongside Valentine Ohu, Seun Ajayi, Bimbo Oshin, Ayo Mairo-Ese, Laura Pepple, Obi Maduegbuna, Oshuwa, Halimah Ganiyu, Fiona Davies and FitMike.

Produced by Lanre Awolokun, under Cinefix productions, the feature is distributed by Silverbird Distributions.

Tangent

From Adesegun Adetoro (MoviePencil, Gangs of Lagos EP), Adenike Adebayo (Screening Room, Chemistry), and now Shola Thomspon (Last Call)  – Nollywood has fully entered its era of Movie critics turning filmmakers who want to tell bold stories.

Hopefully, we might see more of this transition as the industry gets more robust opportunities and funding initiatives. And perhaps how the critic’s experience translates on-screen – Improved and Better or the art suffers the same mistakes, letdown will be quite the observation.
