What No One Knows is written and produced by Tope Laguda and directed by Adeoluwa Owu.

The film follows the story of two girls who become friends after meeting at a young age. While one becomes a photographer, the other becomes a caterer/baker. The friendship of this duo blossoms to the point where they start an events management business together—a business that turns out successful.

Everything goes on well between the two friends until an event unfolds and their friendship is put to the test.

What No One Knows features Lanre Hassan Adesina (King of Boys), Tina Mba (For Maria–Ebun Pataki), Carol King (A Naija Christmas), Damilola Ogunsi (Finding Hubby), Mofe Duncan (Ovy’s Voice), Enyinna, Omotunde ‘Lolo’ Adebowale-David (The Razz Guy).

The film is expected to go the festival route before going to cinemas nationwide in 2023.

In the quest for global recognition, Nollywood filmmakers have begun to explore a host of avenues to set their creative pieces on the international scene, one of which is through film festivals.

With the recognition that often follows film festivals for Nigerian films, it will be interesting to see if this creative piece follows the same pattern and the influence of the festival on the turnout rate at the box office.
