Filmed in the eastern part of Nigeria, UNO embraces the linguistic richness of the eastern culture, including a blend of Igbo, pidgin English and Nigerian English. UNO was written and directed by Ebuka Njoku.

Set in Enugu, the heart of Eastern Nigeria, the film’s plot unfolds over a day, as an eccentric young man, Junior (played by Keezyto, Yahoo+) attempts to introduce his fiancée to his family after a decade of estrangement. Little does he know that this seemingly simple act will put both his relationship and family through a test of fire.

The cast includes Nollywood veterans Nkem Owoh and Jennifer Eliogu alongside Keezyto, Sophia Chisom, Tomi Ojo, Abayomi Alvin, Dj Capello, and Chimamanda Ukwueze.

In Summary

ỤNỌ is produced alongside Lorenzo Menakaya, with Neec Nonso and Keazyto as co-producers.

The film’s production credits are Njoku’s Aguocho, in partnership with The Lorenzo Menakaya Company, Cut & Join Studious, Media 23, The Kreative Mindz, Freeman Productionz, Dinta, and Online Hustle TV.

With Cinemax Distrubiton backing the theatrical release of this title, it will be interesting to how far the box office numbers can get based on consumer interest.
