From the stable of the producer of Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons and Merry Men: Another Mission, Merry Men: Nemesis is set to debut across cinemas in the country on the 13th of October, 2023. This installment of the franchise tells the story of the Merry Men facing a new nemesis, Dafe, a former member of the group. Dafe seeks revenge on the Merry Men for leaving him behind in Russia. He also hunts down corrupt politicians as he believes the group has failed in its duties.

The title will feature the return of stars like AY Makun, Ramsey Nouah, and William Uchemba. It will feature the introduction of a new cast including Sam Dede, Chidi Mokeme, Nadia Buari, Ufoma Mc Dermott, Francis Onwochei, Regina Daniels, and Caroline Hutchings.

The action title is directed by Moses Inwang and produced by Darlington Abuda.

Following the release of Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demon in 2018, the title had a weekend opening of N86.97 million. Merry Men 1 was produced and released in 2018 by Ayo Makun. It follows the story of four notorious bachelors in Abuja who seduce powerful women, get contracts from political elites, give to the poor, and have sex with the hottest women in town.

The list includes Ramsey Noah, Ayo Makun, Jim Iyke, Ireti Doyle, Falz, Abbey Chile Abuede, Damilola Adegbite, Lilian Afegbai, Fathia Balogun, Osas Ighodaro, Nancy Isime and Rosaline Reurer.

The title ended up as the highest-grossing movie of the year with N235.62 million in 2018. It is currently the twelfth highest-grossing Nollywood title in the history of the Nigerian box office. The sequel to Merry Men: Another Mission, the thirteenth highest-grossing title in the Nigerian box office, was released in 2019. The film raked in N89.53 million in its opening weekend. It ended its theatrical journey with N234.50 million.
