“Love & Seclusion” Starring Efa Iwara, Tope Olowoniyan To Premiere in New York City

In 2023, Love & Seclusion was selected alongside four others for the New York Women’s Fund fiction feature film category among over 1000 participants.

The feature-length title is now set for a premiere at the New York University on the 23rd of February 2024, followed by a Q&A session with the Cast and Creative team.

Starring Efa Iwara, Tope Olowoniyan, Inem King, Olanrewaju Ayanwale, Jaybo Charles, Odiah Emmanuel and many others.

Love and Seclusion tells the tale of a young Lagos wife Tola (Tope Olowoniyan)
who is desperate to take advantage of quarantine and conceive her first child. Unbeknownst to
her, her husband has no intentions of having children.

The New York Women Fund is a groundbreaking initiative by the City of New York Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) to address the underrepresentation of women and women-identifying artists in film, television, theatre, and music.
