The film, which stars Kunle Remi as the lead, is another collaboration between Inkblot Productions and FilmOne Entertainment.
The ensemble cast includes Bisola Aiyeola, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie), Bucci Franklin, Femi Jacobs, Emem Ufot, Fiyin Asenuga, Charles Okocha, and the legendary Gloria Anozie.
The producers are expected to share the teaser on all social media platforms in the coming days as a preview of what fans should expect when the movie drops later in June. If the behind-the-scenes footage and images are anything to go by, fans are in for a fulfilling cinema experience.
Recall that earlier in the year; the internet was agog when fans discovered that principal cinematography had commenced for Muri & Ko, another Inkblot collaboration with famed director Biodun Stephen after the success of their first project together, “Big Love” which received critical acclaim and topped both
cinema and streaming charts for its storytelling and acting.
When quizzed on what fans should expect when the movie is released, Inkblot co-founder Naz Onuzo shares:
“Muri & Ko” is an ambitious project. We want to tell a different kind of Nollywood story. Going into production, we aimed to provide 100 percent unpredictable entertainment that cinemagoers would thoroughly enjoy. And we believe that with our solid cast and director who have delivered the perfect performance, we’ve done just that!” he added.
With a wide array of characters and Biodun Stephen’s emotional pillar storytelling, we anticipate the release of Muri & Ko with bated breath.
