The Story⚡
Two students from different worlds cross paths on a Nigerian university campus where privacy is rare, and reputations spread fast. Their connection unfolds against the backdrop of lectures, social pressures, and personal choices.

Tell Me More
Tele X Zikora is a film that explores romance, social visibility, and campus realities. Reputation operates like currency in this setting: information travels quickly, alliances matter, and characters face decisions about what to reveal and whom to trust. Tele, played by Mike Afolarin, is the observant type who notices much but says little. Zikora, portrayed by Genoveva Umeh, brings a viewpoint that finds appeal even amid disorder. Their lives become linked in unexpected ways.

Tele X Zikora is a young adult campus film written, directed, and produced by Adenike Adebayo-Esho. Presented by Imagine Media and Mayday Studios, the project targets a 2026 cinema release. Production included months of pre-production followed by a cross-continent shooting schedule that wrapped in mid-May 2026.

Adenike Adebayo-Esho developed the project during a period when moving forward with filmmaking felt uncertain. With backing from investors and a committed team, the production advanced through table reads, location scouting, and principal photography. The approach emphasizes relatable university experiences, relationships, personal growth, and the chaos of student life, drawing on a Nigerian storytelling tradition that has featured campus settings less frequently in recent years.
