 Funke Akindele’s “A Tribe Called Judah” on the 4th of January 2023 snagged a billion naira in ticket sales.

The action comedy stars Funke Akindele, Timini Egbuson, Jide Kene Achufusi, Uzee Usman, Tobi Makinde, and Olumide Oworu in key roles and follows a family heist to rob a luxury furniture store in a mall but find armed robbers already inside when they arrive.

The big screen feature distributed by Film One began its nationwide run 15th of December, 2023 and has brought 285, 410 in admissions and N1.06 billion in gross earnings.

According to standard exhibitor accounting, the earnings of what the executive producers of the film will take home is around 35- 40% based on the deal they signed.
