Sebastian Ukwa’s debut feature film, A Father’s Love, tells the poignant story of a devoted, low-income taxi driver in Lagos who discovers an abandoned baby in his cab. As he embarks on a relentless quest to reunite the infant with its mother, he uncovers a shocking revelation about his own wife, forcing him to navigate the complexities of love, sacrifice, and unexpected truths.
The film stars Uche Jombo, Yvonne Jegede, Chibunna “Funnybone” Stanley, David Jones David, and Darasimi Nadi. Directed by Sebastian Ukwa and written by Sifa Asani Gowon, the film is produced by Steve Gukas, Chioma Ezeani, and Dotun Olakunri.
This Native Filmworks and First Feature Project production will premiere on Prime Video on May 30th.
