William Benson, Osamede, Gingerrr and The Herd were shut out at the 12th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, with Gingerrr failing to win any of its nine nods.

The 12th edition of the AMVCA, held in Lagos, recognised excellence in African film, television, and digital content. Gingerrr, which received nine nominations, went home with zero wins. The Herd, which also secured nine nominations, managed only one victory, which was Best Supporting Actress for Linda Ejiofor. William Benson and Osamede were equally unsuccessful despite their nominations. Here is the complete official list of winners:
