Africa Magic has confirmed the return of My Flatmates for a tenth season, securing its place among the longest-running sitcoms on Nigerian television. Co-created by Bright “Basketmouth” Okpocha and the late filmmaker Kayode Peters, the series continues as a weekday fixture across Africa Magic channels on both DStv and GOtv.

The premise remains deliberately simple and endlessly expandable: a group of mismatched friends sharing a flat while wrestling with money troubles, questionable decisions, and the ordinary mess of daily life. Viewers have followed characters through years of tangled storylines. Frank’s drawn-out engagement limbo with Mimi has become a running thread. Chief Donatus’s succession of dubious business ideas has provided regular comic fuel.
