“A Weekend To Forget” Inkblot Co-Founder Damola Ademola Makes Directorial Debut

Inkblot Productions announced today that it has officially greenlit “A Weekend to Forget”,

The feature film will be a thriller starring Daniel Etim-Effiong, Ini Dima-Okojie, Stan Nze, Erica Nlewedim, Elozonam Ogbulu, Uche Montana, Neo Akpofure and Akin Lewis

The gripping thriller explores the dark edges of human psychology and the fallout of chasing your darkest desires. Per Inkblot’s social media, principal photography kickstarted on May 12th with Barnabas Emordi attached as Director of photography. 

The project will be directed by Inkblot co-founder Damola Ademola who will make his big-screen directorial debut with this film. Damola developed the story with Chiemeka Osagwu, while Joy Isi Bewaji wrote the Screenplay.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be working alongside such a talented cast and crew to bring this first-of-its-kind thriller to the Nigerian film industry and all our viewers worldwide,” said Damola Ademola. 

“A Weekend to Forget is a film I’ve been envisioning for many years, and I am excited to finally bring it to life thanks to the ever-supportive team at Inkblot,” he added.

“Viewers can expect a gripping, engaging and deeply challenging story.” 

A Weekend To Forget is a collaboration with Film One Studios and the movie will hit cinemas sometime in 2023.
