Singer and actor Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana stepped into the director’s chair for the first time with the comedy web series ‘The Interview’.

Falz, the renowned singer and actor, announced his directorial debut via Instagram, unveiling the comedy web series “The Interview” under his production company, House 21tv.

Following their success with the previous web series “Therapy,” starring Toke Makinwa and Falz, House 21tv presents “The Interview,” centred around humorous interview scenarios featuring Wasabi as the interviewer. Falz himself assumes the role of a herbalist aiding a desperate job applicant.

Cast in this web series includes Layi Wasabi, Broda Shaggi, Basketmouth, Yvonne Jegede, Nas Boi, Akah Nnani, and others.

The first episode Premiered on Thursday, January 25 with over 300k as of this time of reporting and subsequent episodes is said to be released every Thursday on the House 21tv YouTube channel.

Falz, the Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and actor, made his acting debut in the popular Jenifa series. He garnered recognition for his role as Segun in Jenifa’s Diary, winning “Best Actor in a Comedy Series” at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Falz also secured the “Best Supporting Actor” award for his role in the movie “New Money,” marking him as the first Nigerian musician to win the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards twice. In August 2020, Falz expanded his creative endeavours by launching his film production company, House21TV.
