Fiyin Gambo’s African Hero short film, Chosen, will make its debut on May 5th

Chosen is a coming-of-age fantasy short film based on African mythology, written and directed by Fiyin Gambo.
This film is the origin story of Ayo, who is chosen by the gods and blessed with a special kind of supernatural powers to solve the continent’s re-unification problem. As an everyday teenager, Ayo is pursuing the American dream. Basketball is more than simply a game to him; it’s a means of escape from the ordinary. All eyes are on him as he prepares for the match of his life, and nothing less than excellence is expected. However, fate has other plans.
The short is produced by Tiger George with Xie Keyin as director of photography Emmaxiex stars Tristian Kinney, Marci Urling, and Kaylee Bennett.
The African superhero film will make its first public screening at the Iconic Eileen Norris in California on the 5th of May before heading to film festivals.
