The Story ⚡
CeraVe Nigeria has moved into the final phase of the 2026 CerAwards, closing submissions after receiving over 800 entries from creators across the country in under a month.
At the centre of this year’s campaign is the #CeramoVE challenge, a digital activation that invited creators to reinterpret iconic Nollywood scenes through their own lens. From comedic recreations to cinematic adaptations, the entries have captured the enduring influence of Nollywood and the evolving language of digital storytelling in Nigeria.
“The response from the Nigerian creator community has been incredibly strong for the first CerAwards in Nigeria,” said Nadia Amasa, Digital Specialist at L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty Sub-Saharan Africa. “With the #CeramoVE edition, we set out to create a platform that celebrates storytelling in a way that feels both culturally grounded and digitally relevant. What we are seeing from creators reflects the depth of Nollywood’s influence and the creativity shaping its future.”
With submissions now closed, the campaign enters its voting stage before moving into adjudication, where standout entries will be reviewed ahead of the CerAwards Gala in Lagos.
Entries will be assessed by a jury drawn from film, media, beauty, and business. The panel includes actress, producer, and director Funke Akindele; actor Uzor Arukwe; Anais Routhiau, Business Development Manager at CeraVe Africa; Ijeoma Balogun, CEO of Redrick PR; Subuola Oyeleye, Founder of Beauty Hut Africa; and Yvonne Enwerem, VP at Konga Health. Judging criteria cover creativity, performance, originality, and execution.

The campaign concludes at the CerAwards Gala on April 23, 2026, in Lagos, where winners will be announced live.
Top creators across three categories will earn a place on the CeraVe Content Creator Trip to Paris. Top creators across three additional categories will each receive 2 million naira.
The Gala will also mark the official unveiling of the CeraVe Squad, introducing the brand’s next generation of creator partners.
