Entertainment Week Africa opens in Lagos from November 18 to 23, 2025, offering six days of film screenings, runway shows, comedy performances, and industry discussions for Africa’s creative community.

Entertainment Week Africa (EWA), an initiative of Livespot Foundation and produced by Livespot360, serves as a platform for storytelling and collaboration in film, fashion, comedy, music, and innovation. This year’s edition builds on last year’s film-focused events, which included premieres and masterclasses with Funke Akindele and Emmy-nominated cinematographer Nausheen Dadabhoy.

  • Jokes N Jollof – The Comedy Show – Wednesday, November 19: A night of stand-up, improv, satire, roasts, and freestyle featuring top comedians and skitmakers.

  • The Runway Coterie – A Fashion Show Experience – Thursday, November 20: Curated collections from leading African designers.

The program also features music performances, innovation showcases, creative industry sessions, a Creative Job Fair, Deal Room, and Hackathons to connect emerging talent with recruiters, investors, and leaders.
