Released in Nigerian cinemas on April 11, 2025, Radio Voice and Family Brouhaha have made an impressive early impact at the box office, securing spots in the top five films currently showing. The two titles landed in second and third place, respectively, just behind Iyabo Ojo’s Labake Olododo, which claimed the top position.

Radio Voice, starring Richard Mofe Damijo, Adedamola Adewale, Blessing Jessica Obasi, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Deyemi Okanlawon, Jasmine Lelah, Kelechi Benwosely Kachikwu, Nancy Isime, Nse Ikpe Etim, Oprah Okereke, and Timini Egbuson, tells the powerful story of a former sex worker who finds redemption as a radio host at a struggling station. As she embraces a new beginning, she must confront a haunting past that threatens to disrupt her purpose.

Co-written by Ufuoma Metitiri and Isioma Osaje, who also directed the film, Radio Voice opened with an impressive ₦22.6 million in its first weekend, earning it the number two spot on the chart.

Coming in third, Family Brouhaha grossed ₦14.4 million in its debut weekend. Directed by Femi Adebayo, the film explores the tensions within a respected three-generation Nigerian family rooted in a successful cocoa empire. Following the death of the family matriarch, the fate of their inheritance rests on their ability to unite despite deep-seated conflicts.

The ensemble cast of Family Brouhaha includes Adekanla Desalu, Eseosa Bernard, Gabriel Afolayan, Gift Eluwa, Joke Silva, Onuoha Aderonke, Ramota Adetu, Seilat Adebowale, Shaffy Bello, Tayo Faniran, Temidayo Adenibuyan, Timini Egbuson, Tina Mba, and Wale Ojo.
