The Story ⚡
As the world commemorates International Women’s Day, I Am Anis stands as a beacon of hope and a call to action—urging women to support, empower, and accelerate change by nudging, not judging.
Tell Me More
The exclusive screening of I Am Anis today at The Jewel by Aeida was more than just a cinematic event—it was a movement. With its compelling narrative on resilience and self-discovery, the film has sparked an important conversation around how women can empower one another through the #NudgeDontJudge initiative.
Directed by Biodun Stephen, I Am Anis tells the story of Anisola Williams, a woman who must confront her past when her son stumbles upon the truth about her younger self. The film’s gripping storyline and emotional depth emphasize the importance of second chances, acceptance, and community support.
During the event, Biodun Stephen led attendees in taking the #NudgeDontJudge pledge, encouraging women to stand together, offer support, and inspire one another instead of casting judgment.
“The world is already tough on women—we don’t need to be tough on each other. This is about creating a culture where women uplift and empower one another,” she emphasized.
In alignment with the International Women’s Day 2025 theme, Accelerate Action, the screening served as a catalyst for meaningful dialogue on how women can take proactive steps in fostering inclusivity and understanding.
Attendees were also thrilled to learn that I Am Anis will soon be available on Circuits, a new digital platform designed to make quality storytelling more accessible.
