Nigerian filmmaker and actor Eno Udo is set to captivate audiences with Red Line.
This gripping new drama explores the harrowing world of sexual harassment and institutional corruption in the university system. Distributed by Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution, the film is set to premiere in cinemas across Nigeria on March 14, 2025.
In this compelling drama, Professor Obaseki, portrayed by Sam Dede (Brotherhood, Foreigner’s God, Gone), is accused of sexual harassment by one of his students, played by Adunni Ade (Soole, Tokundo, Danfo and The Rose). This accusation sets off a chain reaction of allegations, exposing a deeply rooted web of secrecy within the university system.
The tension escalates with the arrival of Dr. Adeleke, played by Shaffy Bello (Chief Daddy, Your Excellency), a fearless women’s rights activist and the head of the department, determined to uncover the truth and bring justice to light.
The stellar ensemble cast also includes Nobert Young, and Tony Akposheri, who deliver standout performances that bring depth and authenticity to this thought-provoking narrative.
Produced by Eno Udo, Red Line is a testament to her passion for authentic storytelling. Best known for her work on Selfish, Udo serves as the manager of Jodessy Films Production and is the driving force behind the National Integrity Award, an annual initiative celebrating individuals and organizations that exemplify outstanding leadership and moral character.
“In today’s society, a lot of challenges can be traced back to higher institutions,” Udo shared. “This realization led us to conduct a survey within these institutions, uncovering far more than what is commonly known. These eye-opening revelations became the inspiration for Red Line.”
