The Waiting Song, an Igbo-language, transcendental short film is a visual and philosophical film about a prostitute’s encounter with a client that changes the course of her life. It also explores the cosmology of Chi in the Igbo tradition.
The film features a stellar performance from Etta JoMaria, who stars as Echioma. Brutus Richard and Amaka Nwonye complete the ensemble cast of this poetic work of art. ‘
Among the key creatives shaping this project are Nengi Diri as the producer, Okwong Fadamana as the Director of Photography (DOP), and Tosin Jones serving as the Assistant Director.
