The film follows a case of mistaken identity that sets off a series of wild events in one man’s life. It stars Reminisce, Baaj Adebule, Seun Ajayi, Nancy Isime, Bimbo Manuel, and a host of other talented actors. Uche Chukwu is a distinguished, internationally award-winning director, cinematographer, writer, and filmmaker, known for his unique storytelling approach. Launching his filmmaking career in 2007 after graduating from film school, Chukwu has since built an impressive portfolio. He has directed high-quality music videos for both international and Nigerian artists, TV commercials, documentaries, and numerous other visual projects.
As the partner and creative director at Campfire Films, a boutique production company based in Lagos, Chukwu has led a variety of notable projects. His directorial works include the short film 5PM (2014), the web series Diary of Porsha, and the TV series Truly Single (2016).
He made a significant mark with his first feature film, Omoye, which won several international awards and was a favourite at film festivals. Other feature films to his credit include Run, The Moles, and Four Better or Worse.
Chukwu’s work extends to major commercial projects for brands such as MTN Nigeria, Diamond Bank, Nature’s Gentle Touch, Cars45, Celio Nigeria, Mango, EHA Africa, Revolution Property, DCSL Corporate Services Ltd, Landshop Ltd, and LAWMA. Uche Chukwu has embarked on directing his next movie, Njem: The Journey. The filmmaker recently took to Instagram to announce the start of production for this new project.
Produced by Olukanmi Abayomi Jeremiah, the film stars Chimezie Imo, Salami Rotimi, Goodness Emmanuel, Tomi Ojo, Tina Mba, and others. While the storyline remains under wraps, anticipation is building for what promises to be another compelling narrative from Chukwu.
