Ruthless is a gritty story about a young female fighter who finds herself in the crosshairs of a dangerous game unfolding between a ruthless underground madam and an unexpected enemy who is out to get revenge.
Directed by Dimeji Ajibola, the title is allegedly the first female mixed martial arts film to be produced in West Africa. It is produced by Vincent S. Okonkwo of VSL Media Limited, the production company responsible for box office titles like Ponzi, Passport, and Wildflower.
It stars Sandra Okunzuwa, Kate Henshaw, Chidi Mokeme, Princess Obuseh, Zubby Michael, and a couple of other actors.
The title was released on Circuits on the 20th of December, 2024. Circuits is a PVOD service which offers a global pay-per-view streaming service for premium African movies. Unreleased films and blockbusters will debut on the platform in a 12-week window period. It launched in December 2024, and Ruthless is one of the first titles to launch on the streamer.
