Family Gbese
Mazi has it all, an engagement to his ideal partner and a recent promotion at his high-profile investment firm. But when a sudden request from his mentor threatens to upend his plans, Mazi must choose between loyalty and his carefully built life. The film, featuring Uzor Arukwe, Teniola Aladese, Lilian Afegbai, Mike Ezuruonye, and Sandra Okunzuwa, is directed by Michelle Bello and hit cinemas on November 8.
A Ghetto Love Story
Inspired by true events, this romantic drama follows Obinna and Stella, childhood friends whose connection is tested by life’s challenges. The film stars Chioma Akpotha, Efe Irele, Beverly Osu, comedian Senator, and AMVCA winners Wole Ojo and Akah Nnani. Directed by Daniel Oriahi and distributed by FilmOne, it’s set to release on November 22, 2024.

Voke (Stan Nze) acquires mystical powers after his goddaughter’s murder, launching a journey that blends justice and the dark intricacies of black magic. Also starring Uzor Arukwe and Omowunmi Dada, this supernatural drama is written and directed by Tosin Igho and debuts on Prime Video on November 28, 2024.
Princess on Hill
This new Showmax series, created by Abiola Sobo and Tolu Ajayi, delves into the corporate world through Zara (Onyinye Odokoro), an executive thrust into a high-stakes boardroom. With a cast including Bimbo Manuel and Efa Iwara, the show explores themes of ambition and corporate power, premiering on November 7 exclusively on Showmax.
Sisi London
This compelling story centers around an outspoken vendor who makes a heartfelt promise to her dying mother to manage her temper. The challenge comes when her husband unexpectedly brings home a second wife, putting her resolve to the ultimate test. Originally produced in 2019, Sisi London is now set to debut on Netflix, bringing its engaging narrative to a broader audience. The film stars Omoni Oboli, Chioma Chukwuka, Amechi Muonagor, and other notable actors.

Featuring Bimbo Ademoye, Sola Sobowale, Charles Okocha, Ibrahim Chatta, and Rachel Okonkwo, this compelling film arrives on Prime Video on November 15, 2024.
Ogbedun
Directed by Farouk Abisoye (TAMPAN), Ogbedun narrates the tale of an exiled prince, born from a secret affair, who returns to challenge the throne amidst a fierce power struggle. The cast includes Jide Awobona, Jide Kosoko, Antar Laniyan, Akin Lewis, and others. This intriguing film will be in cinemas across Nigerian cinemas from November 29, 2024.
My Fairytale Wedding
A Nollywood rom-com trilogy exploring the multifaceted love lives of modern African women, My Fairytale Wedding follows a 29-year-old who resorts to using ‘kayanmata,’ a love potion, in her quest for true love. The film features Uzor Arukwe, Lilian Esoro, Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mercy Eke, and more. Directed by Dimeji Ajibola of Blessed Memory and produced by ChiChi Nworah, it premiered on Africa Magic Showcase on Showmax on Sunday, November 10, 2024. The first four episodes of the series are available to binge-watch.
