“Only Good Films TV” To Launch December 2025 With 3 Nigerian Movies

OGFTV, a new YouTube channel called Only Good Films TV, will launch on December 10 and release one carefully selected feature film every 10 days, putting quality ahead of quantity.

The channel, known as Only Good Films TV, aims to deliver consistent quality in Nollywood productions. It is led by producers Vincent Nwachukwu and Jide “JBlaze” Oyegbile, with Oyegbile also directing several projects. The initial films feature actors such as Nkem Owoh (Osuofia), Blossom Chukwujekwu, Tina Mba, Lydia Lawrence Nze, Mike Ezuoronye, Kanayo O Kanayo, and Blessing Jessica Nze.

In a statement to ShockNG, the team explained their approach: “Only Good Films can save Nollywood. No noise. No fillers. Just good films.” This reflects a strategy to avoid oversaturating the market, instead prioritising well-crafted stories.

The launch will occur exclusively on YouTube, where viewers can subscribe to access the releases as they become available.

Lydia Lawrence Nze, born on August 19, 1993, in Enugu State, Nigeria, is a versatile actress, model, and producer who has made significant strides in Nollywood. She gained prominence through her role in the film “Call Me Franklin” and has appeared in popular series like “Hush” and “Battleground,” showcasing her talent in diverse genres. As a co-founder involved in the launch of Only Good Films TV, she contributes to elevating quality storytelling in Nigerian cinema.

Jide “JBlaze” Oyegbile is a Nigerian medical doctor, actor, and filmmaker who holds a BSc in Anatomy and an MB, BS from Bowen University. He transitioned into Nollywood, where he has become a fast-rising figure known for his roles in films like “Olaotan in HOG” and directing award-winning shorts such as “Brukaci,” which earned him Best Short Film honors. With nominations from AMVCA and other festivals, JBlaze emphasizes audacious filmmaking without compromising quality.

OGFTV officially launches on December 10 with the premiere of Brown Sugar, followed by Christmas with Livinus on December 20 and House 419 on December 30.
