Kunle Falodun Launches “A House Of Faith Africa” After 8-Year Sony Executive Journey

The Story⚡

After eight years shaping African media at Sony Pictures, a visionary executive bids farewell to launch A House Of Faith Africa, blending faith and entertainment.

Tell Me More

After an eight-year tenure at Sony Pictures Entertainment, a seasoned media executive, Kunle Falpodun, reflects on a transformative career that began in sports media and culminated in global entertainment, now channeling that experience into A House Of Faith Africa—Africa’s premier faith-driven entertainment ecosystem.

Joining Sony in 2017, Kunle recalls EVP for EMEA Angel Orengo’s words: “Given your background, this experience will complete your education.” Indeed, arriving as a sports media expert with general entertainment exposure, he departed as a well-rounded media leader. Before Sony, he built Optima Sports into one of Africa’s influential sports media agencies, forging broadcaster relationships and attending major events like two European Cup Finals and two FIFA World Cup finals in Johannesburg and Rio de Janeiro.

Then came Kwesé TV, where he was the first staff member in the Free TV team, leading Business Development. In 13 intense months, he launched channels and programming blocks across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia, Lesotho, Botswana, Swaziland, Namibia, Cameroon, and South Africa. This paved the way for Sony, where he grew and sustained business across Africa, built lasting relationships, and launched initiatives shaping the future of African media.

Grateful for every step—from OSMI to Kwesé to Sony—Kunle expresses deep appreciation for colleagues and experiences. Now, dusting off his entrepreneurial hat, he steps into a new chapter where career and calling converge with A House Of Faith Africa, designed to transform how the world engages with faith-based content. Quoting Psalm 68:11 (NKJV), “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it,” they view this as the boldest venture yet, prepared by every sacrifice and lesson.

In Summary

A House Of Faith Africa lights a path for faith-driven stories, forging a vibrant future for African entertainment.
