In its second week, Summer Rain, launched that week, stood as the major competition against Something About the Briggs. The title emerged as the highest-grossing film that week, grossing ₦25.02 million. The romance drama was directed by Adenike Adebayo-Esho. Featuring Bolaji Ogunmola, Daniel Etim Effiong, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, and Genoveva Umeh.
