Tell Me More
Entertainment Week Africa (EWA), evolving from the iconic Entertainment Week Lagos, is poised to redefine the creative landscape with its 2025 edition, scheduled for November 18–23 at the Livespot Entertarium and key venues across Lagos, Nigeria. This rebranded platform, an initiative of Livespot Foundation and produced by Livespot360, will take a bold step toward uniting Africa’s talent, culture, and business in a dynamic experience. Building on the legacy of events like Mavin at 10 and Tiwa Savage Live, EWA aims to empower creators, especially women and youth, through opportunities in music, film, tech, and fashion.
The EWA Content Festival will offer a haven for movie lovers and filmmakers, with planned screenings, premieres, director talks, and a Content Market to showcase work and unlock opportunities. The EWA Music Camp will feature a week-long studio session where emerging producers, songwriters, and engineers collaborate on an exclusive music project, preparing their work for global audiences.
The event’s lineup will also include electrifying live experiences: an Opening Party, Jokes n Jollof Comedy Café, the Turn Up Lagos concert series, and the grand Livespot X Festival finale. The Gen-Z Republik, Creators’ Hub, and Innovation Showcase will provide spaces for young creators to connect, share ideas, and innovate.
EWA’s mission is to uplift creatives through practical support. The Labspot will offer classes with industry leaders, the Deal Room will connect founders to a ₦25 million seed fund and investors, and the Creative Job Fair will link talent with recruiters. Deola Art Alade, Founder of Livespot360 and EWA Convener, said, “Entertainment Week Africa is where the brilliance, originality, and global influence of Africa’s creative industry come together. It’s a strategic expansion designed to serve Africa’s growing influence in Music, Film, Tech, Fashion, Live Production, and Entrepreneurship.” Co-Founder Darey Art Alade added, “EWA is evolving into the go-to destination for professionals and creatives seeking meaningful connections, unexpected experiences, and ideas that can help shape the world.”
In Summary
Running from November 18–23, 2025, at the Livespot Entertarium and venues across Lagos, Nigeria, EWA delivers a week of unparalleled creative synergy, connecting artists, innovators, and fans to fuel Africa’s cultural and economic rise.
