In Summary
“The Herd” is headed to Netflix on November 21, with the streaming deal likely secured well before its theatrical rollout — a savvy financial move at a time when Netflix’s licensing spend on Nigerian titles has sharply declined.
The producers appear to have locked in the deal early, then used the cinema run to build big-screen acclaim and momentum, a strategy that ultimately paid off.
