Dead Tide, a production by POV Films and Rushing Tap, introduces a suspenseful story set in Badagry, Lagos. Directed by Soji Ogunnaike and written by Chiji Ononiwu, with a story by Jide Ayinde, Ogunnaike, and Ononiwu,Dead Tide, produced by POV Films and Rushing Tap, unveils its first look, teasing a thrilling narrative set against the scenic backdrop of Badagry, Lagos.

Directed by Soji Ogunnaike and written by Chiji Ononiwu, with a story crafted by Jide Ayinde, Ogunnaike, and Ononiwu, the film centers on Itoro, played by Ikechukwu Onunaku, a man seeking peace after losing his sister. His quiet life at a beach bar is upended when Sade, who accidentally films the president’s son Dare committing a murder, seeks refuge in his bar. Together, they must outsmart their pursuers and seek justice. The production, backed by executive producers Ayo Soyombo and Soji Ogunnaike, producer Tosin Oludare, cinematographer Taiwo Adeleye, and line producer Okoku Lillian, delivers a tense and visually captivating experience.

The cast includes Ikechukwu Onunaku as Itoro, with William Benson co-leading as Gambo, alongside Ibrahim Suleiman, Mo Bimpe, Eniola Ajao, Uche Nwoko, Saga Adeolu, Tope Olowoniyan, Folu Storms, Charles Inojie, Ademola Amoo, Michael Udeoji, Osasu Esemuede, Bade Smart, Raph Niyi, Alexander Ayalogu, Yokeegilla, Emmanuel Ilemobayo, and Adams Effects.
